About Us
Our Mission
Here at Different at Work, our mission is to help people in their journey of becoming themselves fully by pairing informative science, theories, and practices with practical, lived-experience context — using the strengths that come with how our brains work.
Learning about neurodivergence — how different brains work, and how that shows up at work — gave us the chance to revisit old experiences through a new lens. With close to 1 in 5 adults experiencing ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, or another way of thinking, we believe many other adults are doing this same kind of reconsidering. Different at Work is our invitation to do it together.
Who We Are
Andrew Sanders, MBA

Andrew Sanders is a business & technology consultant and co-host of Different at Work, where he brings a systems thinker’s lens to the question of how neurodivergent professionals can build environments that work with their brains instead of against them.
With more than 20 years of experience in leadership, enterprise technology and product support across Fortune 100, healthcare, and SaaS environments, he has spent his career designing systems, automating workflows, engineering structure for organizations, and supporting the growth and development of others.
His later-in-life ADHD diagnosis reframed that entire body of work: the scaffolding he’d been building for companies was the same scaffolding he’d been unknowingly building for himself. He is passionate about pairing informative science, theories, and practices with practical, lived-experience context, and he believes willpower is a design flaw, not a discipline problem.
Andrew is the founder of A Sanders, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in system modernization and digital transformation for small and medium-sized businesses. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Technology Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
Based in Tampa Bay, Florida, he enjoys gardening, home improvement projects, and spoiling his two dogs.
